Rock the Gloss Challenge for September 20th 2006:
This is a picture of MAC's Crimzone from the collection of Miss Griffie. It was originally only available in Asia and then it was rumored to have been in Pro stores. I coveted it for quite a while. I never dreamed that I would actually be able to see it in person.
What is your lippie today?
I am wearing MAC's Chromeglass in Prize Shine. It is a platinum lilac color with a metallic sheen.

Aah! I've coveted Crimzone forEVER! Just to see it in the picture gets me all excited.
I'm wearing MAC Lovelorn, which is not as good.
Chanel's Tornado again. So glad I rediscovered this. I never would have tried it again if you hadn't pushed me with this challenge to go into the bottom of my makeup kit.
Crimzone: why is it great? Is it just the color, or does it do something unbearably wonderful?
Today I am wearing Benefit lipliner in Do Ya Wanna (I just love all the names of Benefit products), MAC lipstick in "O" and Revlon lipgloss in Raisin Glaze.
"O" is one of those colors I never would have chosen for myself. A MAC makeup artist used it on me, and I love it. It is a bronze plummy color on me but looks totally different on my sister.
I am not sure about finding the MAC version. No Booing please, Wet & Wild makes a color that is from what I can see is identical. Just an interesting note the man who heads up Wet & Wild is married to the woman who heads up Chanel. His favorite thing to do is knock-off Chanel colors for Wet Wild.
This reminds me of my favorite color from Shiseido that was discontinued ages ago... Now I can't think of the name.
Anyway, today I am wearing MAC Instinctive with Viva Glam V over it.
Estee Lauder Crystal Gloss in Platinum Rose from the new fall collection... I really like this color. I'm wearing it over their Long Lasting Lipstick in Pinkberry, which is really nice even if it was a gift with purchase, it makes a nice neutral pink base.
(The free bag was horrible, though...)
Yay for Crimzone! It was very exciting when Ms. Griffie whipped it out! =)
No lipcolor for me today... home sick. =(
