I am looking forward to fragrance shopping with my makeupalley buddies soon. I was thinking of my scent lemmings today. My number one lemming is Barbara Bui. It reminds me of my HG(holy grail) fragrance POTL(People of the Labyrinths) Luctor et Emergo. It is so comforting and has an out of this world drydown. I am surprised that it is not a bigger hit on the board. My second lemming is Caron's Aimez Moi. I "willed" this scent to work for me. The first time I tried it in NYC it just did nothing on my skin. I passed my wrist around to everyone and it was nixed. Cavewoman would wear it and I would just swoon. This last sniffa I wore it again and shoved my wrist under Miss Patti's nose. She finally said that it was lovely on me. I have drained three decant bottles so it is time to purchase my very own. The third lemming is Serge Lutens Douce Amere. I must be on an anise kick. I just can not get enough of it.

Hi A! I just tried Barbara Bui this week, and was not impressed until the dry down. Now I think I need to try it again. Am I crazy, or is it also like Molinard Tendre Friandise?
Only got a few drops and need to share with Beth, so going to have to swap for some. I almost never see anything on the board about it, is this expensive stuff?
I gave my sample to Annie because she adores it, and it should be with someone who appreciates it!
I surely did not get Tendre Friandises out of it, but I did not try it on skin. Just took a sniff from someone elses wrist!
I am hoping to make an order of Barbara Bui very soon. I will definitely share it with you and Beth. I think it has been sold out for a few months.
I did not get a Molinard Tendre Friandise vibe to Barbara Bui. I will check that out tonight!
