I just purchased this fragrance at Saks. I remember the raves from Laureanne and Felicia(fcappy) and knew I had to seek it out. It is lovely and perfect for the upcoming spring. I am having a hard time locating any information on the notes. According to our charming SA at Saks it was recreated by Karl for a Chanel party. He wanted to scent the air with camellias. The SA stated that there is no camellia scent so they created this fragrance to give the illusion of it. I can detect a lovely jasmine note with bergamot.

Hi Joyce and Sophie:
It is great to see both of you here!
I think you both will love Une Fleur de Chanel. It is fresh and lovely. I love how laureanne said it was dewy. That is a perfect way to describe it.
A great fragrance for spring.
Interesting! I have been recently obsessed with the idea of using oil from camellia (the flower of the tea bush) for skin care and cooking. The tea seed is known as the olive of the east, and its oil is supposedly even healthier than olive oil, although it's hard to find in the US. In China, it is widely used for cooking, and in Japan, camellia oil has long been a hair conditioner and moisturizing skin oil. The scent is apparently beautiful but ephemeral, so all perfumed versions must use a synthetic. There is a camellia-scented body oil available from http://www.victani.com/products.asp, which uses the synthetic scent, and a number of different kinds of unscented camellia oil. As always, the Chinese version is cheaper than the Japanese ones. The Japanese, they believe in the joy of overpricing.
I've yet to smell it but my heart always flitters with Chanel fragrances!
