I've seen beautiful vintage velvet bags on sale in boutiques around here. The one I can't believe I let get away was this moss green velvet pleated pouch with satin ribbon trim. I was broke at the time, and when I came back, it was gone.
I love vintage bags! There is a local resale store that has its walls and ceilings covered with vintage bags. She will not sell one of them! I can not go in the store because it is sheer torture! It makes you go weak in the knees! (Note to ytown ladies: It is the resale shop on Belmont Ave called Off Saks or something like that!)
