OMG, we are truly on a fashion mindmeld. I just bought a pair of sequined ballet flats, striped in sequins of light blue, silver, and lavender. I wore them with great satisfaction yesterday, accompanying a knee-length pastel tweed skirt (in mint green with blue and gray), a white v-neck t-shirt, my blue Jordache denim jacket, two mother-of-pearl bangles, and a string of white baroque pearls. Then of course my hair was all spiky and my eyelids were yellow-green. I looked like a mutant country-club girl who was on a trip through Oz. I highly recommend wearing sparkly shoes. They cheer you up all day. Now I want a pair of pale ivory or gray khussa beaded flats. More decorated shoes!
Tania! We NEED a visit to the Pearl River Mart and some uber-cool downtown stores! Flea markets and street vendors!
