Happy Birthday! I love that movie. I used to travel 100% 24/7 on business - for about 7 years. This movie hits the mark on what it's like between the time you arrive at your new hotel, and the moment you make a life for yourself in that new city. You feel so discombobulated, and even if people DO speak english, it doesn't sound like english due to accents and weird vernacular. I rarely ever connected with someone to that degree but the once in a blue moon when I did, it was just like Lost In Translation. Travelling on business is such a floaty thing to do. And the meaningless connections with home, like the color of the carpeting, are all that hold us down. Very nothingness.
