I think that may have been the first Merchant Ivory movie I ever saw, too, if it's the one I'm thinking of with the young, handsome, naked men frolicking in the pond. That image was a formative moment in my young life. Ah, thank you, Merchant. Thank you, Ivory.

You are correct! I was thought Rupert Graves(Freddie Honeychurch) was so lovely and adorable.
This was my first Merchant Ivory film. They are like film jewels. So rich and lush looking. I think Ivory should hook up with Rebecca Eaton. She would be able to carry on their work and style. IMHO
