You would love the little shops I just walked through today on the Lower East Side. Will and I rode our bikes over the Williamsburg Bridge into downtown, and we had lunch at Paladar, on Rivington St. Then, while we digested our tasty quesadillas, we walked up and down. Will went into a guitar shop, and I drooled over the super hipster girlie clothes all up and down the street. There was one funky wedding dress shop that bummed me out. I can't believe I never saw it while I was shopping for a gown! A woman in the back was handstitching details onto a massive ballgown skirt while I mooned over the dreamy silk and tulle couture fantasies, in white and various other crazy colors, including one heartbreaking fuchsia and purple gown with a can-can girl's skirt.
I was thinking that I would want a couture like gown for my wedding in a non traditional color. Then I remembered that I was single and had no prospects. LOL
I like the idea of a can can skirt. I would not mind a moulin rouge dance routine at my reception. I think I want you to do your fan dance at the church. A little kung Fu and a little jesus.
I am on the fence about veils. I like plain long versions. I still love tiaras but not for my wedding day. LOL I think I might just do a flower. I will be honest-my dream wedding would be in sicily with just the love of my life, friends and some family. I would have a great dress(that either I could wear again or could be donated to a museum LOL) and a feast with the entire village. Think Godfather 2. LOL Seriously: I want a man that would be willing to elope.
If the times comes...I will need you to take me to that shop. I really need to start a NYC fund to stay a few days. There is so much I want to see. Have you gone to the Chanel show at the MET yet?

I decree that you shall wear a can-can skirt and a feather fascinator.
