The gumball necklace saga: You will never guess what I came across online. No...these are not the famous gumballs from Nordstorm's brass plum line. Instead I have stumbled across the gumballs that started it all. This is the necklace featured on Sex in the City. I have posted the picture of SJP wearing them. Here is my question for my friends and casual readers of my blog: Do I cave on these? This gumball necklace is $80.00. The one from Nordstorm was $19.00. They looked exactly the same. The necklace at Nordstorm is sold out. There is a waiting list. They might not ever produce another batch. These will be out of fashion next year. Why did I go online window shopping today? I was just looking for sandals and...BAM...the perfect gumballs.  Posted by Hello

I say go for it. Some hungers must be satisfied. You will be able to sell it on eBay for twice the investment by proclaiming THIS is the SJP necklace worn on SATC. *So? Everybody else on eBay lies.* Please. Do this. So you can finally have peace. xoxoxoxo

Annie, I hope by now you have caved on this necklace. Do you hear me, girlfriend? Do I need to call you?
This one is even better than the Nordstrom one, and you know it!!

Oscar Wilde said the only way to get rid of a temptation is to give in to it. Annie, this gumball obsession must be satiated! Cave!

Annie, I'm going to email this picture to the eBay seller who sold me the onyx necklace you saw me wearing the last time we met up. She might be able to come up with a good copy! It's such a simple design, it seems like it would be silly not to try.

By the way, are those gemstones or are they just bakelite or wood?

Please tell me you bought them! If not, it's time to cave! You deserve a little gift to yourself and you've been wanting them for so long!

Well...I have not caved on this pair. I did find a pretty decent looking pair on Ebay. I successfully won the bid at around twenty four bucks. Give or take a few dollars. Patti did all the work. I do not have an Ebay account. We shall see if they satisfy me.....
Huge thanks to Patti and Melanie!!!!!!!!
