I just read in my "Mutants" book that redheads are, arguably, mutants. Their coloring stems from a mutation in the whole melanin-production process: They have some unusual thing going on with some kind of molecular switch. People usually make various amounts of two kinds of pigments: melanin and some kind of reddish pigment. Albinos make neither. Redheads only make the red. That's why they can't tan, only burn! Mutants!

I flirted with posting a Lindsey Lohan picture from when she was a child...before she went skanky. Decided to pass on the impulse. I really dislike her new blonde look. It looks awful.
I love that you've made a page for redheads! I've been looking for that photo of Karen Elson at the beach forever! It's so great to see a fair skinned, redhead not afraid to be in a swimsuit! I used to get made fun of soo much when I did. Anyway, redheads rule!
