Yesterday I had a wonderful time shopping with cavewoman. T J Maxx was pretty much a bust for me. My only purchases were a chinese inspired cabinet that will house my decants and perfume themed post it notes. Patti scored several shoes and cool coffee. At Nordstorm I picked up two more Tony & Tina products. I purchased enviornmental rescue rice powder(based on raves from Patti and Chattykathy) and universal color dust in keyhole in carina(a lovely pink shimmery gold color). I visited the MAC counter but was pained to see the sales clerk wearing my dream gumball necklace. I wanted to yank it off her neck and bolt toward the door. This damn necklace will haunt me for the entire summer. Patti pointed out other big bead necklaces but I pouted and could not be consoled. The yearly Nordstorm sale started only the day before so there were plenty of deals. Patti discovered some lovely blue sequined flats for a song. Our next shopping stop was Sephora. I finally caved on Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Pivoine Magnifica. The notes are peony,bergamot,grapefruit,iris and violet. I have just started being attracted to peony based scents. My other Sephora purchases were makeup. I finally caved on Nars Christine lipstick and discovered benefit shimmer powders called Show Offs. I grabbed Bambi(a yellow opal) and Powder Puff(another pinkish gold-how many do I really need?). At Bath and Body Works I stocked up on white ginger and amber products and found the last violet shower gel and lotion. I also threw the violet edt in my bag. I think this is a very inexpensive alternative to Malle Lipstick Rose. The day ended at our favorite mexican place called Cancun. Once again I ordered the exact same thing I always order. I never explore the menu(I make a good show pretending) and like a creature of habit I blurt out "chicken chimichanga".
