Just got back from a weekend in Akron Ohio. I had a great time with my friend Mary(see link to full wave rectifier) and spent sunday afternoon with ex-college roomie Diane Raushie. We went to see Chuck Klosetrman speak at the Akron Public Library. He was quite funny and charming in his own way. He signed my book and remembered my favorite Radiohead song. Thats a nice guy with a pretty amazing memory. Other things I did in Akron: played with mary's kitten,drank too much,ate some great food,watched some episodes of Curb your Enthusiasm and did a three mile walk in Sand Run Park. It was a relaxing and fun weekend.

Doctor Zhivago's influence on fall fashion. I have always loved this still from the movie. I have read that the ice inside the estate was recreated by wax. On film it was just beautiful. A castle made of ice.

Inspired by a great spread in W Magazine and current events: One of the influences on fall fashion is a victorian governess. I first saw it in the fall RTW collection of Prada. There was one great coat that just made me think of a young hip Jane Eyre. You can find the victorian prim and proper look in each collection.
