Sweet home Alabama: This is my personal favorite from the entire Project Alabama spring collection. I love the red beaded sweater with the stunning white full skirt. It is perfect in every way. I will want to try to recreate this outfit when spring rolls around. The company was started five years ago by Natalie Chann and Enrico Marone-Cinzano. According to the blurb on style.com they use their own knitters from Alabama so for that...they rock and deserve huge business. I thought the colors were gorgeous but style.com stated that the colors appeared "too country". I guess this makes me a hick. This collection is worth a peek at style.com.

So beautiful and demure! I love it. I cannot wait to hear what our dear Self Styled Siren has to say about her Homestate Collection!
I am glad the new trend of the season seems to be over the top femme. I love it!
I thought of F too. The collection is so pretty and wonderfully crafted. I hope it is a hit with the NYC fashionistas.
So far it looks like the themes are pretty(the white cotton dresses),black and white combos and bar flys(imitation of christ's Bon Jovi inspiration). I have seem some navy color use so that makes me excited. I love the color navy.
Mel: You got the best style.
I would call earthy, what they call country. It's such a flattering palette!
I just posted my favorites from Project Alabama's show on Breathless!
Congrats to you on your feature in the NY Times. My Kiss Me, Stace was mentioned.
Oh, fooey on the naysayers. If Vuitton did this color they would be raving. Hrrmmph!
Great stuff, Annie!
