Blogdorf Goodman is a mishmash of beauty product reviews, musings on fashion and swooning over fragrances.

This is the one bottle of perfume that I covet and love with a passion but have never caved on. I always seem to physically stall when it comes to purchasing it. It is a tad expensive but I have whipped out my credit card for scents that have been more pricey. The notes are blackberry, french roses, bergamot, incense, cinnamon and sandalwood. The reviews on makeupalley are mixed but I think it is gorgeous and swoonworthy. Maybe I will cave on my next visit to TAK. (photo might be from Aedes.) Posted by Picasa

Bois de Paradis is absolutely exquisite. If you do cave one day, it will definitely be worth it...if you do not, you know a decant is only a MUA-mail away :)

It's beeyooteeful. It's a little too intense to wear every day, but it's a big drama queen woodsy scent for when you want to be drama queeny. I actually recommend getting a decant if you can. It's so concentrated and so expensive!

It's the best of the DelRae in my opinion!
We need a trip to Tak. You cave on the Bois and I will cave on La Contessa Di Castiglione. Between the two of us we will unload a bundle there.

I agree with Patti, it is my favorite DelRae as well. Like you, Annie, I always wonder why I have never bought it! but perhaps this is the Fall that I will cave on it. When you & Patti go to NY let me know and I will try to be there at the same time!

BTW, anyone have news of John Henry???

(((John Henry)))--I am so sad that he is MIA and no longer at Tak.

The Bois is so nice, reminds me of the holidays. I agree with Tania--it is very Drama Queenish.

I have only a couple of drops of this left! Boo hoo! But, we are duping it!

This was a big splurge for me and I bought it from Marcy at Luscious...what an experience handing over 110.00 for that bottle, but it was worth every drop. And whenever I smell it, I'm taken right back to an evening spent with Marcy and our other buddy, Nina, on a hot, balmy night sitting in front of Luscious. sitting at the iron table and chairs on the sidewalk, sipping mimosas and laughing like fools.

For that night alone, it was worth the money! I say go for it!
