I have been fond of pom poms because of my senior fashion history project. It was a 40's Lily Dache hat. It was a tiny tophat with tons of pom poms on the side. It was very Rosalind Russell in the Women. My teacher(I was her pet and obsessed with the class) was so excited when I chose it. I researched the heck out of that hat. I was consumed. LOL
HA! We will spot you and begin to talk loudly of greek salads.
Please J...you will be sitting right with us wearing incredible shoes. We will pin a koosh ball to your ponytail holder so you will be in the "theme". I will also bring vanilla nut creamer so you can finally experience it. LOL

Koosh balls, lettuce, and at Chloe, moth balls apparently.
Fashion is having one of those weird moments again, isn't it? LOL.
Though I rather like a pom-pom fringe. I have a velvet jacket from the late 1940s trimmed with pom-poms and it's spiffy.

One day, we have to have lunch in NY at a swank little East Side eatery. I will wear my jacket, you wear that hat. Our pom-poms will rule the room.
I had to give the hat back to the department. It was part of the Firestone/Siberling collection.
I can bring the picture though. LOL
Yes...you will have to wear your pom poms to a swank restaurant, and I will sit within earshot of you and make snide cheerleading jokes!
Sounds FUN!
