Newest impossible scent lemming: 1941 Coty's Lily Dache Drifting. I need to stop exploring at rubylane antiques. I discovered Louis Vuitton steamer trunks(10,000 bucks) and countless compacts. They also have an empty bottle of Coty's Chypre.

I have such a yen for a prewar bottle of Coty Chypre. I smelled a little that someone else had, and I've been dying slowly of wanting it ever since.
OH, I've longed to be able to afford some of the Lily Daches that I've seen come up on eBay. Sigh. I need to stop "window shopping" on eBay.
Tbone: I really want to smell all these prewar scents.
I am reading the Chandler Burr book and I am smitten with the scene of Luca charming the lady that was sitting on all those discontinued gems. I want to stumble across a shop like that.
K:I have never bought off of ebay. I try to stay away from places that are potentially dangerous to me. Ebay could be my downfall. But the idea that there are Lily Dache hats floating around...I might have to peek.
