New lemming list:
1. Digital camera: Tonight I am going to Best Buy to look at a Sony camera. It is called Cyber-shot 5.1 Megapixel digital camera. I hope to have a digital camera before my next NYC trip so I can post pictures of the beauty floors of Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman.
My promise to everyone: A picture of dear John Henry at SAKS.
2. Philosophy skin care:
I will cave either on the oxygen peel or the microdelivery peel. I am being inspired by Chattykathy. Her skin is beyond stunning.
3. I am going to take advantage of the Caron sale in december. I have no idea which one I will cave on. It might be Nuit de Noel. I also might cave on a Guerlain perfume. I have been threatening to whip out my bergdorf card on a guerlain parfum. The contenders for a place on my vanity are:
1. L'Heure Bleue
2. Mitsouko
3. Vol de Nuit
Please vote on a favorite to help with my decision process.
This will be my xmas/bday/surviving 2005 gift to myself.
4. A high tech makeup mirror
5. A shu palette
6. Hermes Ambre Narguile
7. low heeled boots
8. Hermes enamel bracelet(high end fantasy lemming)
9. electric blanket (I live in Ohio)
10. Interpol cds

Dorothy Dandridge! Wasn't she incredible looking?
Such a cute photo! k
Dear Annie, get a Mitsouko parfum on parfum1 and cave on either the Vol de Nuit or the L'Heure, because they are harder to find. :)
I am looking forward to the Caron sale too. You can also get NdN in the classic bottle on parfum1 so I would save for something else at the store.
Mitsouko, if you can't find it online!
If you can find Mitsouko parfum online, I'm tempted to say Vol de Nuit, but the L'Heure Bleue did smell wonderful on you, and I haven't smelled you in Vol de Nuit. Decisions, decisions.
I say buy whatever Guerlain you can't find online (I know there are parfums on ebay for a relative steal!).
On the other hand, when you buy a parfum at Bergdorf, they throw in a free mini parfum (.25 oz) in the scent of your choosing. So you *could* take care of two!
And, btw, I'm REALLY hoping I'll be able to meet you in NYC!
Great list, Annie!
I plan to cave on a parfum of Lady Caron, finally, after having used almost three bottles of the EDT already. It is time for that beautiful little parfum! Thanks for all the help last night! ps you should see my hands today after all that Shiseido stuff!
And, by the way, is it my imagination or did the Perricone Salmon work already? My face is looking pretty darned good this morning!
I vote for Mitsouko!
by the way, your #8 is definitely on my high-end fantasy lemming list as well...
and by the way...I swear by the philosophy microdelivery peel. I use it once a week and before all important events where there's even a remote possibility that someone will have a camera.
Addict: Thanks for the rave on the microdelivery peel. That is what I needed to make the decision to "cave".
Trina: Are you going on the 10th? If so....we are finally going to meet! Beauty Addict is going too! This will so much fun!
Patty: Excellent choices. Love both of those scents. Chattykathy layered Coup with Mathias Fig....and it is beyond fantastic. The best layering recipe ever!
Campaspe: I was thinking L'Heure but might get swayed by Vol. I spent way more on the digital camera...but a parfum would be a great way to end 2005.
I love Dandridge! She was an Ohio gal!
cavewoman: I think we need that shisedo tube.
Hi A,
Out of all the items you listed, the electric blanket sounds most swoonworthy! It is so cold in Chicago today!

Jen
Sometimes an electric blanket sounds good even here in Southern California!
:O)

Hi Victoria:
Sorry so late getting back to your post!
I love Anne Pliska! That is one that I reach often for. It is currently on the Nordstorm website. The $$$ is pretty good too.
I love meeting fellow ohioians!
You are soooooooo lucky that you have escaped. It feels like below zero here tonight. Just awful.
Do you post on MUA?
PS: I love your icon.
Peej: I still have not caved on the blanket. I need it!
Hi, I have posted on MUA a little, but I never really got the hang of it. I mostly use it for reading reviews. I spend most all my time at Perfume of Life.
I'm really glad Anne Pliska is available on the Nordstrom website now. Now people all over the USA have easier access to it. It used to only be available in Southern CA. I have my blog up and running now and I did a post on Anne Pliska if you are interested. I say let's share this wonderful fragrance with the world!
I put a link to your Blog too, I think it's great. And one of the greatest titles ever, very clever!
Well stay warm, knock those salt deposits off your car, and be thankful it's not a year of the locusts.
:O)
Victoria
PS Re: my icon, thank you. I made it with a free program and I'm surprised how well it turned out!
What kind of high tech makeup mirror? In my bathroom no matter what bulbs I try, the lighting is terrible and I really want a lighted makeup mirror but I don't know what kind to get. Do you have any suggestions?
