I met him (Lou) once during the filming of a concert. I have one of the few pictures of him actually smiling ... He personifies "out there" in the coolest possible way ... and he sleeps with Laurie Anderson - which puts him at the very top of the cool pile in my book.

Berlinbound & Parisjasmal - I saw him and Laurie out on a date at a modest little Village restaurant at least a decade ago. They are the coolest couple imaginable. The hipness just comes off them in waves. Lou's middle finger notwithstanding, they seemed very laid-back and, dare I say it? courteous!
