I came running to the Blogdorf this morning in hopes that you would have a photo of Deneuve! Thank you, Annie! Just look at her! She is a STAR in the most perfect sense of the word! I love that she has not had work done on her face, or at least, if she has, it's not obvious. I truly think she hasn't.
No one knows for sure, according to the MUA makeup board. I saw the MAC Icon photo yesterday in the latest Vanity Fair. It makes me want the entire collection. Who did her dress?
MAC missed the big-time boat when they did not purchase the rights to her perfume and make it a part of the launch for the Icon collection. I can't imagine that no one thought of this but me.
The year she was nominated for an Oscar for Indochine she also wore a dress I disliked, a weird YSL with a feathered decollete that made it look like a peignoir. I am beginning to think that CD is the Michelle Kwan of award show fashion; something always goes wrong on the big night. You could snap a picture of her striding down a street in Paris and I am sure her clothes would be much chicer than here!
But her face looks wonderful. P., I think the word is that she has actually has a great deal of work done over the years (and she is classy enough to say so, if the journalist asks nicely), but generally very subtle. Here she has let the lip collagen re-sorb (so did Kiera Knightley, did you notice?) and it is such a relief, because once again it's the face we all worship.

I was not a fan of this gown on her. Her makeup looked lovely and subtle. I wonder if it was MAC?

Lanvin.

Eek, you're right. She looks frump. Like she has huge hips that come up to her collarbone. Deneuve, frump! I didn't know it was possible.
