She always choses very fussy gowns. I like the idea that she went for a shorter length but hate the feathers. The feathers instantly made me think of SJP's pink dress from a few years ago. SJP pulled it off because the design was more vinatge and she has that adorable style factor. This just looks more vegas/cruise ship to me. (gettyimages) Posted by Picasa

I actually dug her pink number she wore to the Golden Globes - it was one of my faves of the evening. It was not too dressy but not too casual, and was really quite flattering. It was much more classic looking than this, which as you point out is too fussy.
