I do so hate it when the models chew at their fleas or lick their wounds. Finally there's a solution! Actually, this weirdness with the material in the "collar" was something Gaultier was playing around with way back when for The Fifth Element, wasn't it? I can't find a picture real fast, but check out the stuff he made for Gary Oldman's character especially. Lots of plastic, and lots of high strange collars.
I did a google search. There are a few good pictures of Oldman. Gaultier used real(and alive) animals on the runway. He had an owl,a big fat kitty and several dogs. The kitty looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.
