La Boheme: Mary and I planned an entire NYC trip around this show on broadway. It was incredible and one of my favorite NYC moments. La Boheme just takes your breath away. This picture goes out to anyone who is living the greatest love story ever told. You know who you are.

Oh Boheme, I want to see Baz's version so much. As soon as The Red Curtain Collection came out on DVD I bought it, not because of the universal Baz favorite - Moulin Rouge but rather because of my favorite Strictly Ballroom!
It's one of my favorite movies! "Vivir con miedo es como vivir a medias." Translated to English: "A life lived in fear is a life half lived."
It doesn't hurt that the late bloomer and ugly duckling breaks through along with the oddball rule breaker.
It's rather uplifting and romantic plus it includes dancing and who doesn't love dancing! Makes me want to change my name to Tina Sparkle!

I wish I had picked up the cd at the show. I am kickcing myself over that!
City Opera is staging the Puccini this spring, but I always have such a hard time seeing the opera. I always end up laughing at the wrong moments.
