3rd day of Fragrance challenge:

I wore Acqua di Bella Janca in Mary's honor.

Notes are:
Florentine iris, peach, tamarind, mandarin, lime blossom, osmanthus, magnolia, cardamom, musk, cedar, patchouli
*from luckyscent.com

It was the first true day of spring in Ohio. The janca choice was perfect.

What scent did you wear today? Was it a good choice?

Today I left the house wearing some Acqua Di Parma Profumo. I got to my Mom's where she presented me with my grandmother's denture-soaking box, filled with ancient perfume samples.
One of those samples was Tuxedo by Ralph Lauren! I have wanted to smell this ever since I heard it was a chypre. It is swoony! Of course, there is none to be had anywhere. But I am glad I got to try it. And I'm glad to have my grandma's denture box! My mother kills me sometimes.

I wish I can stumble across vintage fragrances at a flea market or antique shop.
I would love to sniff the Lilly Dache.

I wore Very Irrestible from Givenchy today. It is one of the ones I save especially for warm weather days. I think it is my skin chemistry, because on my skin, the juice smells nowhere near the way it does in its bottled existence.

Very Irrestible was meant just for me, I am convinced. And it ranks in the top three of compliment-getters - from men. Someone very senior at work told me I smelled good today over lunch, then proceeded to clear his throat and dig into his salad, without looking up for the next 5 minutes. Ha!

I really love Janca. I have a teeny sample and think it smells so light, feminine and fresh. I wore Elizabeth W Sweet Tea today. It was perfect, but not long-lasting enough, as I'm still up at the office and can no longer smell it. :-(

I noticed that I feel the need to reapply the Acqua di Bella Janca by about mid-day. Another scent that I sampled while on assignment was the Geisha Violet, smelled like fresh cut grass and the violet was nice and light, not so in your face like the Parma Violet.

I would have bought the Holy Champa,(while at the ScentBar) but they were out!

Greetings,

It really was the first real spring day in Ohio. Winter wasn't too harsh, but it's always good to welcome spring. And DID YOU choose the right fragrance for the day?
Shop at Fragrances, Perfume and Scents to find just the right scent to go with the new makeup or cosmetic. You know scents need to match.

And never put a fragrance on your hair. The oil from your scalp will make the fragrance too harsh.

If you're shopping for a fragrance from the counter, be sure to tell the sales person a little about yourself. Are you romantic, athletic, practical. Believe it or not there are scents that are better for different people.
