Mary from The Customer is always Right went to the Luckyscent bar this weekend. She fell hard for Janca by Acqua di Biella.
Check out her visit at http://whereisgoodservice.blogspot.com/
I have started a fragrance challenge created by PatchHag on MUA. She is wearing a different fragrance every single day. I have tons of sample vials and decants so I needed this challenge.
Today I wore Hermes Rose Ikebana. The notes are rose, grapefruit, rhubarb, honey, pepper, vanilla, musk, and amber. It is a great fragrance for summer. Very light and crisp.

Sounds like Mary had a good time-I'm looking forward to visiting her soon and smelling the perfume she bought. I'll have to head over to ScentBar myself too.
I bought some samples oils from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab-the fragrances have some crazy, fun names and everything smelled wonderful.
Enjoyed your site BTW!!
Isn't Rose Ikebana delightful? The first time I smelled it, I thought "ho hum," but then when I wore it out I enjoyed it so much that I ended up having to splurge on a bottle. I also love layering this with Ambre Narguile--the two scents work really well together.
Thanks Kelly!
I have only tried a handful of BPALs and none have been successful for me. I love looking through the site and reading the descriptions. I have always wanted to try her more incense based scents.
You need to go the scentbar the next time you visit Mary! I have never visited the physical store but I have ordered from the luckyscent website. They have an amazing selection of fragrances. I bought my Monyette Paris from there. Let us know when you go and post pictures!!!!!
C: I really liked it. At first I was worried that it would not be warm enough but it was perfect for a spring day.
I LOVE Ambre Narguile. It is the best amber I have ever tried...and I have tried quite a few.
Annie, I cannot believe you wore this today. So did I, this afternoon, when a nice sample arrived in a swap package. I got so much grapefruit, that note seemed to dominate all day on me. Actually I kind of liked it!
