This is the fragrance that should have won at the Fifi awards in NYC last night. The Fifi awards are the Oscars of the perfume industry.
Bond's Chinatown is a magnificent fragrance. From the moment I first sniffed it I was smitten. My gang was lucky enough to sniff it from the lab bottle of the owner herself. The gang consisted of ladies with very different tastes in perfumes. That day each of us agreed on one thing....we had to own this bottle.
That is what an amazing perfume does. It grabs a hold of you and brings you to your knees.
Chinatown sucker punched us all.
If you are a Chinatown fan post in the comments. All hail Chinatown!

Chinatown is the only fragrance in the world that could bump my beloved Deneuve from being my all time best ultimate perfect fragrance forever. Not only is it gorgeous, remarkable, memorable in itself, every time I sniff it, I am back in the Bond Store with our little group, meeting Laurice, piling ourselves into the BondMobile and heading off to lunch, dishing like girlfriends about the industry and perfumes and a million other topics. I love that scent triggers memories. I will cherish that day forever. It was one of the best days of my life. It was the best day I've ever had in New York. I'm the Number 1 Bond Girl!
Definitely my favorite Bond. I think it makes one smell nice. Not nice in a "you smell good" way - but I think it makes the wearer smell like a nice person. I'm wearing it now and it almost makes me want to *be* a nicer person. Chinatown could transform NYC into a friendlier place!
I was in L.A., visiting Fred Segal, and I had never smelled any of the Bond fragrances before. I spied them on a shelf, had a quick heart attack over the excitement, and quickly decided Chinatown was the one for me. My favorite fragrance for the last 5 months.
My favorite Bond (followed by Nuits de Noho). A friend was so mesmerized by it that when she leaned in to smell my neck for the nth time...she actually fell off her bar-stool. Any perfume that can accomplish that is a winner.
I love it, too! I do not own a full size bottle yet but i do have a sample! It's a little pricey so i haven't worked up the courage yet! Although, i know it's worth it. Has anyone tried the new fragarance from Bond. I believe it is called Peace and the bottle is purple? Just curious what people think of that. I wish i was in new york to go to the sniff party! I LOVE new york so much and am hoping that in a year or so i can move out there. Do you live there Blogdorf?
anon2: I have heard from several people who have tried Scent of Peace who say it is quite lovely.
I hope to try it soon. Cavewoman usually gets a sample so I hope to test it soon. We usually plan a dinner when we have some cool samples and decants to try.
If you visit the Bond website you will see that there is a daily candy code going right now if you purchase a Bond.

Also if buy directly from the Bond store and mention MUA you get 15% off your order.
Congrats on the future move to NYC. I currently live in Ohio but if anyone offered me a job in NYC...I would leave within a week.
Everyone: I am so glad to see the love for Chinatown.
That scent is a gem and truly deserved to win. I stated on mua that I felt it had become the Michelle Kwan of fragrances. Clearly the best but robbed of the high status awards!
