DramaQueenie2 and Parisjasmal introduced me to their favorite flea market in Kayne County. It was fantastic but it was the company that made the experience a blast. Nothing like good old fashioned sassing to kick start the morning. The sassing was equal. No one escaped Dramaqueenie's jabs.
Note to Felicia: Peej did not wear a ponytail.

Here is the shopping report:
I stumbled across a dream aurora borealis necklace in ruby red along with a lemming I did not know that I even had. The score of the day was a gray aurora borealis three strand necklace. It is dazzling and worth every penny.
I also managed to find a very interesting compact that looks like a pocket watch. It has a tiny Max Factor puff inside but no marks on the case.

I saw some lovely thing such as pristine depression glass, vintage postcards, hat pins, vintage sunglasses from the 60's and rhinestone bracelets.

It was the company that made the day special. It had been too long since I shopped with Dramaqueenie and Peej. They are Olympic talented shoppers who make me keep my game up.

I miss them already and wish we lived closer.
Huge thanks to my beloved sassy buddies who made my weekend so much fun.
Extra thanks to my friends Jen and Jackie who made it all possible.
Non-stick!!!(private joke that will give Jen the giggles)

OMG!!! My Mom had that harvest dinnerware. She always had the big pitcher filled with Lime Coolaide in the summer. Thanks for the memory.
:O)

Lovely pics! I'd never heard of aurora borealis necklaces, but they're very nice (thanks, Google!).

I have a 1920s montre à poudre: a very small metal compact that looks like a watch: it has a little winding wheel on the side and a plate pierced with holes inside. You're supposed to put loose powder in it and turn the wheel, the plate turns and makes a small amount of powder come up. It's a very clever little thing. Someone should revive the system.

Is yours like that, A?

Aw, my mom would have gone bonkers over the green Depression glass.

That looks like a really awesome flea market. Lots of different things. All those costume jewelry pieces - what fun!
