Marc Jacobs Spring 2007: I have been harsh in the past when it comes to Marc Jacobs. I just expect more from him than anyone else. For years I loved everything he did, then we had a falling out. I can not remember the dreaded collection now...but it was pretty awful.
I have slowly been trying to get back that "old feeling" with him. He made me love him a little with this show. This spring collection has it moments of quietly beautiful things.
I loved the 1920's inspired dresses(see #5 on style.com pics), the lovely holographic sequined top(see#8 on style.com), the modern take on Amelia Earhart(see #10), and how he played with jersey. But the item that I would beg, borrow and steal for is....#50.
Before you dismiss it or mock me....
According to style.com: it is a "shirred tulle bomber jacket with a furlike appearance"
There is always a coat that will grab a hold of my heartstrings and tug.

I have to say that when I read this I thought of Tangina saying "Go to the Light" in Poltergeist.
