Sniff, I particularly miss the fan. It made me think of fancy Spanish ladies, which made him seem so much more interesting than he is. Now he looks so severe, and his good humor seems to be replaced by such a dour look on his face. A fat Karl is a happy Karl, and I fear the inverse of that is true, as well.
