I was organizing my fragrances and taking stock of my decant collection when I decided to take some photographs of my stash. This is my French CanCan by Caron.
I am terrified to open it. It was a splurge from my Christmas NYC trip. I was hanging out at the Caron boutique with Cavewoman, Chattykathy, Tbone, Beauty Addict, Lupa and Lenotchka when I finally caved on it. I had been stalking it for years and took the plunge.
The notes are lilac, jasmine, rose, violets and some type of incense base. It also has a leathery quality to it.
It is gorgeous and worthy of hoarding.

Definitely wear it, although I can understand the reticence. I am very much into this one as well after sniffing at the sniffa. May one day take the plunge on a decant, but those fountains are SO cute. I want one( and I know they sell them). I need to go to the Caron boutique, well maybe not.
