Magie by Lancome
This is the second fragrance that has turned on me. It has lost all its richness and oomph.
When its good...its magnificent.
The notes are roses, violet, pepper, jasmine, musk and amber.
I switched fragrances during the day and wore Guerlain Guet Apens.

Today's fragrance is Lolita Lempicka.
Pleasures (Estee Lauder, I think) totally turned on me. It was one of my faves for quite a while - I even wore it on my wedding day. Then, suddenly ... blech! I just couldn't stand the smell anymore.
You know, Angel by Thierry Mugler always smells fabulous on everyone else, but I think it smells awful on me. Body chemistry, I guess.
A, today I am wearing POTL body cream. Better than the fragrance, and it lasts all day.
No, I don't think that I have ever had a fragrance "turn" on me. Perhaps it has gone bad in the bottle, and it's time for you to purchase another one. :(:(

I recently fell head over heels in love with Givenchy Ange Ou Demon. I think the smell is phenomenal...but it fades away soooo quickly. I'd buy the body veil and bath gel, but it seems like the only alternative to having the scent fade would be to having it overpower me. I'm not giving up on it yet, though.
My bottle of Petit Cherie by Goutal turned within about 6 months of my purchasing it. I have also had two bottles of Deneuve turn on me. My HG! From perfection to putrid, it broke my heart!

Magie is usually a very powerful and rich fragrance. Now it is watery and smells "off". I think it went bad. I am going to get a 2nd opinion with cavewoman to see if it needs to be pitched. I am sick over it because I have only had for maybe a year.
Angel smells horrid on my co-worker. I think it is the patch note that can turn on the skin. She thinks she is the only one in the world...so she will be excited to know that she is not alone.
Violet: I want that cream. Tell me more. One MUA buddy said that the hay note is more prounounced in the cream.

Hmm. I just bought some Magie. I think I'll wear it rather than hoard it if there's a chance it will turn quickly.
