I got this email/press release this morning. I love the t-shirts, the idea, and the gals at Glamour. My favorites are the Jenni Kayne(third from the left-top row) and Vena Cava(first one, top row).

Profits to Benefit Designers’ Charities of Choice
NEW YORK, NY – GLAMOUR, the magazine that reaches one in every ten women in America, announces a series of limited edition Splendid t-shirts issue to be sold exclusively on Shopbop.com with profits going to charity. In its March 2007 Designer issue, Glamour profiles six young female designers who are changing the face of fashion -- Jenni Kayne, Rachel Roy, Rodarte, Sari Gueron, Thread Social, and Vena Cava. In celebration of the issue, Glamour collaborated with these women to design a limited edition deluxe t-shirt.
Glamour asked each designer to customize a one-of-a-kind image that reflects their creativity and inimitable vision. Image were screened onto a white cotton Splendid short-sleeve t-shirt and signed by the designer, similar to a work of art. A limited edition run of 1500 shirts (250 per design) have been produced for sale on Shopbop.com, with 30% of the retail price to benefit the following charities:
· Jenni Kayne for Rape Treatment Center at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center: Coral-colored sketch of a woman in a field of poppies wearing Jenni’s Grecian one-shouldered gown.
· Rachel Roy for Children’s Hope India: A unique take on Rachel’s signature distressed in metallic gold.
· Rodarte for National Multiple Sclerosis Society: A smattering of black & white light bulbs with one illuminated in yellow.
· Sari Gueron for Free Arts NYC: Original watercolor painting of an owl spreading its wing across the front of the shirt.
· Thread Social for Women In Need, Inc.: Graffiti print inspired by the spring 2007 collection.
· Vena Cava for American Refugee Committee’s Darfur Relief Effort: Pen and ink Art Deco & Native American inspired graphic drawing.
