TJ Maxx Greatest Finds:
A few weeks ago several MUAers started spotting Marc Jacobs handbags at their local TJ Maxx stores. It has always been my dream to stumble across a find like that. I want a TJ Maxx shopping story that will make people weak in the knees and green with envy.
This bracelet is one of those stories.
This stunner is by Robert Lee Morris. It is hammered sterling with Akoya pearls. It came with a Saks price tag of $450.
The TJ Maxx price tag was $39.99 and it was dear Patti that stumbled across this at the jewelry counter.
What has been your best TJ Maxx find?

What a score! I've never had a TJ Maxx find like that.
Other amazing TJX finds: A Dominic Bellissimo shearling coat ($630), Fendi Theorema pure parfum ($15), Michael Kors tote ($36), Tommy Bahama Palm sterling and stainless wristwatch $(169), and my beautiful hand-carved and hand-painted Italian nativity set by Dolfi. I need to get a photo of this to you, Annie! It's so lovely, I wanted it for years, but could not afford the huge four-digit price tag. When I saw it at our local store, I stopped dead in my tracks. I called the DH on my cell and told him I was about to make a huge purchase. It truly was a dream come true.

My TJMaxx in Spartanburg has lots of designer stuff and no one ever buys it!! I mean its Spartanburg,people. But I got a Juicy Couture Diaper Bag 59.99,7 by Seven Jeans( the ones they sell in Lane Bryant for like 90.00) for 19.99,Tons of Korres Body products and my ultimate find, Kiehls Musk for 19.99.
The best that I've ever done is a beautiful lilac leather Coach bag for $29. The TJ Maxx by me is always so picked over, but maybe I'll start checking them out again!

Bulgari au tea vert for $19.99. A Cynthia Steffe coat for $99 that I have worn to death. There was a Furla black leather shopper at mine Monday for $120 that I put back (it was a struggle) and they have started to have some of the more elaborately beaded Tony Burch tunics for $80. Mine is also starting to have a lot of Sigrid Olsen and some of both Taharis - a green velvet jacket followed me home.
Hi! I don't usually check out the jewelry, but I will now! I got a bottle of Etro Resort (retails for $60.00) for $3.99 and I also found a cute Sigrid Olsen knit tank top for $9.99, originally $78.00! Oh, and a BCBG Max Azria dress, originally $138.00, for $29.99!
I've found Joy EDP for $25, Madame Jolie for $10, and a beautiful Tommy Hilfiger knee length raincoat for $20 down from $150, I think. I will pay more attention to the jewelry next time.
TJ's jewelry is great, I got a ruby and diamoond ring( .20ct diamond so you can really see them, 1 carat ruby) for 50.00.
I have not seen much of the runway stuff, did see it in a store an hour away in an affluent area but it was quite picked over.
That bracelet is really pretty and what a find.

A, my best friend has found some amazing jewelry pieces at her local TJ Maxx.
I have found cashmere sweaters at mine, and recently bought a Jones New York pants suit for $75., that was originally $280.
Last summer, I spotted a pair of white Valentino pants for about $90. that were originally $500. Too bad they did not fit me.

The clothes and bags at my TJ Maxx are just not good. I don't know if I'm always there at the wrong time, or what. But I did get Balmain Jolie Madame there for $9.99, so I can't complain too much!
I found some red Uggs for $70...not the best deal! I never know how to shop in there....all the racks just freak me out. Do you guys have a stategy?

The best I've seen at my local TJ Maxx's and Marshalls is Bulgari (very expensive), Armani jewerly, BCBG, Michael Kors, Sevens and some Juicy Couture.
Maybe I'll have more luck in the near future!
Every now and again I can catch something great. Most often it's a fabulous brand, but I don't love the actual product. So that doesn't work for me. I keep checking though. Just in case.

They are all fake. TJ Maxx was sued recently for selling fake goods. I would just buy the real thing; their is a reason you are praying the price they ask

One MUAer recently found a bottle of Chaos at her TJ Maxx. I think I would have had some type of meltdown.
I was at my local one yesterday and a woman was unloading a big stock box and I noticed a few cartons DuWop. DuWop - have no idea why it was there. I picked up an entire carton (6) of Revolotion Face in Caitlin for $3.99 each, and a box (6) of the Revolotion Lotion for $3.99 each. I love this stuff! I was pretty surprised to find them there. Last year I stocked up on Urban Decay's Loose Body Powders in a few of their great flavors and gave them out with Christmas presents. I think those were $3.99 a piece too.
Yes it is true I got a Marc Jacobs handbag in green with the little chain.... It was a steal!
The only thing i have found so far is the $9.99 Jolie Madame, but after hearing some of these stories I am going there a LOT more often! Of course, mine is also in a metropolitan area where we have Saks, Macy's and Nordstrom, so maybe the pickings are just slimmer due to that. Regardless, I will keep stalking the inventory. I need a new handbag, and I would like for it to be nice looking without having to fork over a week's pay.
The TJ Maxx near me always has designer. I try to avoid them because i always spend too much. The marc jacobs they have right now are minature handbags. My best find was a pair of purple suede coach pumps for ($23) dollars!

I think I win with a Marc Jacobs coat that I fell in LOVE with 2 years ago at Bloomies but wasn't willing to spend $900 on a coat at that time but lucky for me I was randomly walking through TJMAXX just browsing the racks when I spotted a coat that eeirly resembled the one I saw to years ago. It not only turned out to be my Marc Jacobs coat but it also was marked down to $30 on the clearance rack, only one left in my size. I LOVE TJMAXX!!

Today I found a large Diane von Furstenberg carryon bag for $56, a Juicy Couture terry hoodie for $36, a Juicy jacket for $36 and a (wait for it) gorgeous Vera Wang nightie for $36 (SRP was $218!)!
Did I buy any of it? NO! I only had $10!!! Of all the days to be broke!!!

Top of my list, a Marco Buggiani bag, valued at over 600 euro. I paid $70!!!!

The best thing I ever purchased was a bottle of 'eSolutions - Energize Antioxidant Serum'. I'm completely addicted to it. My skin has never been more beautiful. The HORRIBLE thing about this discovery, is that I've searched all over the web and other TJ Maxxes for another bottle, and I can't find any record of it, anywhere.

can "SS" support that tj maxx was recently sued for selling fakes with a legitimate source? i googled it and the only match from the results i ended up getting was this blog with SS's comment about tj maxx getting sued. i would like to find out if this is true.
i recently found a high end designer bag there and b/c tj maxx is a big retailer, i assumed it was real and that the person assigning prices made an error. i mean, this bag retails for $995 and is still very popular. i got it for $170, with a compare to price of $328. i just figured someone wasn't doing their homework. plus, i've looked up what the real bags look like and it looks spot on, but you never know. i was all excited about it until my friend said it's got to be a fake. there's no way they would be selling a balenciaga motorcycle bag at tj maxx! what do you think?
I've found many things from Juicy Couture,Coach and True Religion. I think TJMAXX is the greatest place ever! The prices are such a steal. I got a Juicy Couture hoodie for $25.00!
I just bought a Michael Kors signature Jacquard handbag for $179 originally $398!!! They also have Dr. Perricone products now (the really expensive line sold at Sephora)...I'm sooo excited!
I love going to TJ Maxx, just yesterday I found a Free People hoodie and Kitson Jeans. I can't always find good stuff in my area but I comb through the racks. Does anyone have any tips on finding the "good stuff?"

I shop at the Maryville, TN tj and found lots of great stuff...my fav was a Pucci clutch for $80...yes, a reall Pucci clutch. Makes all my solid color summer dresses pop!
BTW, I have two homes and my other home is in Cincinnati, the tj store there never has as many good items as the one in TN. Good be the theory someone else said, good stuff goes to outlying markets!

i found a pair of Cavalli heels and juicy couture jeans at mine. they all ways have besty Johnson. They had a plethora of coach shoes and Kate spade rain boots.
I live at Marshalls. Dooney and Burke and Juicy Couture are regulars there for $50-$100. Coach wristlets are found for $25.
I usually go for their cosmetics and beauty supplies. Philosophy and CHI are very cheap there! Today I found Stila eyeshadow for a dollar! I almost died! I also love their Sevens jeans and Abercrombie tops. I am a great rack sifter.
once i found a chanel handbag like 4 years ago at my tjmaxx and they always have the nicest italian leather bags... recenlty me and my sis found a Fendi and Lanvin sunglasses case and we snagged them for like 5 bucks each! there is alot of Michael Kors here....you just gotta go there alot and look around.
