From Vogue.co.uk/Nina Ricci: The dresses were strictly model figures only but they were mesmerising all the same - especially when cobweb light degradé versions went from white to neon yellow and the last run of black, white and grey had grown huge fungal curls of stiff chiffon – this really was an enchanted forest.
From International Herald Tribune/Suzy Menkes: He landed, light as a bird, even if the soaring romanticism of feathery tulle necklines and tiered chartreuse evening gowns was not quite replicated in the day clothes. There, voluminous knits, again worked with feathers, and pants outfits, some brisk pinstriped suits or loose jackets worn with trousers offered a different, more urban look than the long-skirted elegance.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who absolutely adored this collection. It was ethereal and whimsical; who wouldn't feel like a fairy princess in one of those gowns?
absolutely gorgeous. Reese Witherspoon showed off how gorgeous Nina Ricci can be at the Oscars...!
Wow, Annie. I gasped when I scrolled from the picture of the swan to the close-up of the dress's texture. What an amazing visual vocabulary you have! -Polly
Thanks Polly!
That is actually one of my favorite things to do on the blog. Finding the perfect picture and discovering the themes for the collections. My posts for fashion week have been late this year. I am struggling to keep up with work, the blog and emails. There just never seems to be enough time to get everything done.
This is such a wonderful.
I love O. Theyskens. His designs truly move me.
