The Frederic Malle article Dirty Secrets

Interesting tidbit on Dior's Diorissimo: Diorissimo seems to be a simple lily of the valley fragrance, but perfumer Edmond Roudnitska added indole, a dark, slightly greasy molecule that smells like petroleum or mothballs. This made the green, fresh and the transparent notes smell even more green, fresh and transparent.

The fall shows were all about a polished look that featured powdered skin, precise liquid liner, and red lips. Pat McGrath stated that "A red mouth is sultry and fierce."

At Proenza Schouler, Gucci Westman defined the mouth with two red lipsticks and a layer of sheer red gloss.
