The pink cocktail dress from Breakfast at Tiffanys sold for $192,000.
Christie's expected it to auction for $30,000.
I would have loved to have seen the last few moments of the auction. I can only imagine how exciting and tense it was.

My most satisfying find was my Waterfall bedroom set.
This was my third or fourth house auction.
I stood in a bedroom with a paddle... bidding against a well known Youngstown antiques dealer. It was like a spaghetti western. I stared down my foe with my paddle in the air. I was going home with that set if it killed me.
I won the set for under $500.

Hi Annie,
My fab auction bargain is a bracelet of aurora-borealis blue marquise-shaped crystals, about an inch and a half wide, in pristine condition and unsigned. Other nice auction finds for me have been some adorable little bonbon dishes from Germany, with pierced edges and pretty floral designs in the center.
