Prescriptives Colorscope Creamy Eye Color: Smoking Gun

This is a very long wearing cream eye shadow that lasts throughout the day without creasing or losing intensity of pigment. It can be worn alone for a luminious finish or as a base coat for other shadows. I have used it with much success with my MAC Sumptious Olive and Greensmoke shadows. It resists caking, streaking and fading. I am going to chalk up this feat due to it's ingredients. It is a blend of gel complex, carnuba butter, and silicone polymer.

The shades available are: Chamois, Jungle, Chai Tea, Rose Dust, Smoking Gun(pictured above), Pink Pearl, Maroon Glace and Moonstone. They will be available at your local Prescriptives counter in October and will retail for $18.00($24.00 for our canadian friends).

Everything seems to want to cake and run into my creases except the Shiseido Hydro-powders.

If these are anywhere in the same range of staying power, I think I'll be storming the Prescriptives counter . .

That colour is simply stunning. I might have to pick it up even though I don't really wear eye shadow.

I love a good gunmetal color. It's pretty and easier to apply than black shadow.

Smoking Gun looks similar to BB Galaxy cream e/s, except maybe better b/c it doesn't seem to have the large glitter.

Hi!
Thanks for this article. The first time I saw your blog, I thought it was about the store. I'm sorry. Now, I know, so I'll read it more often. I do like your advice.

I am SO glad Prescriptives is getting more recognition recently! I love them and it seems a lot of people forget about them as a brand. False Eyelashes Mascara in Plush Black is an HG

Angela: I will have to do a side by side test and let you know.

Modelizer: The color is FABULOUS. It is a required color for smoky eyes.

BeautyB: I agree.

Anon: The only BB products I own are the palettes. My local counters are not people friendly.

Storybookheroine: It is gorgeous! You need to check this out!!!

I love MAC: That would be a huge job. My collection is pretty massive.
