A Fall Workhorse Palette Bobbi Brown Mauve Face Palette

Bobbi Brown consistently creates workhorse palettes. They might lack the bells and whistles of other brands but they always become a staple in your makeup stash.

The Mauve palette contains three neutral eyeshadows, one dusty rose blush and three lip colors. The shadows are cool toned. Navajo (also featured in the Stonewashed/Nude Palette) is an antique cream shade. Vintage eyeshadow is a taupe. This taupe has less silver than the stonewash shadow in the Stonewashed/Nudes Palette. It has a smidge of shimmer. The third shadow is called Chocolate Mauve. This is a rich brownie shade.

The lippies are more brown based than pink. Dusty Mauve Creamy Lip Color is a sheer rootbeer shade. The Mauve Lip Sheer is a whisper of a garnet shade. It was very similar to my Bobbi Brown Red Plum Lip Crayon. Vintage Mauve Lip Color is a deep red velvet cake shade.

The blush is a matte cool dusty rose shade.

The palette is starting to show up at local Bobbi Brown counters. The official launch is in July. It retails for $55.

BG, I love my palette. I have enjoyed playing every morning with it. You are so right, her palettes are workhorses.

Is this already in stores?

The blush looks similar to Nars "Sin" - how does it compare?

Does anyone know the July launch date? I don't think I will have time to go into a store any time soon (have to travel), but I'm really lemming these, and want to purchase online...

Never mind. It's available at Neiman Marcus (decided to still post this so that others in my predicament can know where to look ^_^).

IS it bad that I got this palette 2 weeks ago and have yet to touch it? It is lovely, don't get me wrong, but I am enjoying my summer shades of lipstick and blush and this looks so "fall" to me. Please tell me you think it's wearable for the hot summer. :-) BTW, I'm lemming the Black Pearl gloss thanks to your review. :-P

I love Bobbi Brown, but I just can“t stand having lippies and shadows in the same palettes. To messy for me.
