Bada Bing: Mattene lipstick in Bing from Cult of Cherry

Bing is not a cherry based lipstick. This is more of a blackened plum shade with a very slight red undertone. So slight that you can barely detect it. It is the first of many dark themed lippies for fall.
It is goth in a retro 1920's way. This is not Hot Topic territory.

The texture of Bing is moist yet it gives the lips the look of a matte finish. Since this lippie is so dark and intense, your lips must be in excellent condition. Make sure they are exfoliated and buffed. Each line or flake is put under the microscope with this shade.

Bing is part of the Cult of Cherry collection and is available at your local MAC counter.

I looove Le Bing! It's part of my Cult of Cherry haul! Try layering a little Liquer (same collection) over it for some depth! It's too dark to wear in Florida (for now!) but that hasn't kept me from experimenting for my Fall debut :].

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Such colors look really goth or unflattering on light skinned people. On others, if you can wear it and not look like a freak, more power to you. I don't know anyone who could, though.

Anonymous should remember that expressing yourself is more important to some people than looking mainstream pretty.

My two cents:

Anonymous needs to remember that it is makeup and as such washes off with soap and water. A dark lipstick might look garish or just plain awful to you but if the wearer enjoys it and feels it is expressing some part of themselves then so be it. That's what makes us so interesting, we all are different and have our own opinions, including your very strong ones.

We are after all talking about a lipstick.

....ooooooh. ooooooh.

Oh, I'm so excited. When this unhappy tan fades, I'm ALL over that. It's the perfect lip base for some pigments, as well :)
