Penelope Cruz Wins!

She was in vintage Balmain.

Cruz fell in love with the gown eight years ago in a shop. Tim Gunn mentioned that the gown was over 60 years old and was of museum quality.

Wow, I love the jewelry in that vintage pic. It's so '80s modern looking and is awesome with the to-die-for gown.

SO bummed to miss the red carpet tonight, but from the photos, I'd have to agree with your choice of Penelope!

It's so clear Angelina knew that she wasn't going to win, otherwise she wouldn't wear a dress that looks identical to the at least a dozen other frocks she was seen wearing over the past 5 years. Nice emeralds though.

I didn't like Penelope's dress. That white/ivory colour always reminds me of a bride and really didn't go well with her skin tone and haircolour. I think gold or red would suit her best. =)

I was mesmerized by Penelope's amazing eyeshadow as well. If any of the BG crew has a clue about that, would love to hear it.

The gown was amazing and she has recovered nicely from some mis-fired performances early on in the States. Lovely speech, too.
