Coat Lemmings For Fall 2009

My first coat lemming for the season.
This is a light pewter coat from J Crew. It does not appear to have an attractive lining...so I will be passing.
I have not fed my "JCrack addiction" for two years.

It is $298 and brand spanking new on the website.

i considered this coat as well, but i'm aiming for something a bit slouchier but in a classic fabric. the hunt continues.. also, i haven't been to this site in a long time, but revisiting it reminds me that this is one of the first fashion/beauty blog i ever read and it inspired me to eventualy start my own!

I love the style, but knowing me it would be filthy in 2 minutes :). I'd like in charcoal or navy, though.

Beautiful color.

I've bought some things from J Crew recently, but I agree their past couple of collections have been forgettable.

What is a "coat lemming"? I picture small brownish rodents that live in the sleeves of coats at the thrift store. Surely this isn't what you mean??

;)

Anon: It is a term from my days on makeupalley. It means "terrible want/covet". Like a lemming...you would follow the masses down a cliff...to get what you desire. There is no reason. It is all about wanting.

I do lemmings quite often.
