My Pretty Seahorse

Beauty addicts are already losing their mind over Marine Life powder from the MAC's To The Beach Collection.
It has all the makings of a beauty legend.

It is limited edition.
It is all kinds of summer pretty.
It is wearable and buildable.
It is already sold out online and most MAC counters.
The lemming frenzy is in full force on the Makeupalley boards.

Let us know if you have caved into the Marine Life lemmings in the comments.

My Little Pony, My Little Pony
Isn't the world a lovely place
My Little Pony, My Little Pony
Everywhere you go, a smiling face
Running and skipping; merrily tripping
Watching the morning unfold
My Little Pony, My Little Pony
What does the future hold?
No sign of trouble in sight
My Little Pony, My Little Pony
May all your days be bright
May all your days be bright

I ended up purchasing two of these on May 18th. After the gold overlay is gone, it ends up a regular blush that can be used in three diff ways.

I also have three of the eyeshadow, weekend cream bronzer, and thrills * funbathing lipsticks.

I'm going by MAC on my way home tonight. Fingers crossed they'll have Marine Life! I'm just worried that I'll decide it's too pretty to use.

Argh, I went online and to my nearest store right away and they were already sold out! I did get Beachbound Lipstick, Flurry of Fun Lipglass and Float On By Eye Kohl, and am very happy :) Super pretty and wearable... I do wish I had managed to get this to go with it, though! :( I`m also considering refilling on my Pink Rebel Lustre Drops, even they`re they`re re-promoted, just because I don`t know when I`ll be able to get my hand on them again... Thanks for the update!

I was lucky I was able to get two, one for me and one for a friend. It's so pretty I don't want to touch it yet.

This is one of the most beautiful items MAC has put out in a long time, but for me it does loose some of it's magic with out it's over-spray.

I have to admit I passed on this one. When I first saw the photos pre-launch, my heart did go flip flop, but after weeks passed I went on to covet other things.

The shimmer is just overspray. As soon as you use it, it's not special or pretty anymore. I passed.

What a pretty coral--I know that the makeupalley message boards are not only smitten with the product, but some are a bit upset (I'm being polite). Apparently the product sold out after it was online only a few hours, then MAC sent out emails canceling several of the orders. It's a bit of a sore subject, actually. Beautiful photo's! Enjoy!

I'm so envious! It doesn't even look like this compact made it to Canada!

I love it!!! Even when gold overlay is gone, blush is an absolutely beautiful color. Labeled as a highlighter is a little misleading... it is more a blush. A lot of people complain that is too shimmery, i didn't find that to be a problem what so ever. With that being said, when you FIRST use it, the gold shimmer can be overwhelming for some, but once overlay is gone... blush is beautiful.
