Inspiration: A glamorous bohemian style that’s soft, romantic, and feminine
The Instructions
1) Apply an anti-frizz product and volumizer before blow-drying the hair smooth using a round brush.
2) Then curl the hair using a 1” curling iron to create soft and feminine waves.
3) Next, create a foundation for the style by backcombing the bottom layers of the hair.
4) Sweep the hair to the left side of her face, securing with bobby pins.
5) For a finishing touch Didier used one of Natalie’s earrings as a shimmery accent piece.

2 Inspired Comments:
She looked just lovely and I'm happy she won. I just saw Garden State and Beautiful Girls recently on cable and she has always been excellent. And it's nice to see someone who has worked hard their entire life be acknowledged for it and appreciate the opportunitities she is still being given.
But on with the dress. I love the color and the neckline. The smokey eye and side part also looked glamorous. I was not a fan of the tassel earrings even though the color was on point because the diamond balls looked like white gumballs on my screen. They had no fire. I'm surprised they are T&Co. Nominees (and esp. winners) should wear more diamonds. Seriously, I think the girl needs a tiara!
I love the earrings, Mel! But the dress! It looks like some 80's bridesmaid dress off the rack at some discount bridal salon. I don't like Rodarte and this dress is an embarrassment. Portman deserved so much better from them.
