Today would have been the perfect day to wear Mitsouko. It is raining and the sky is a heather gray. If you want to see the most perfect depressing gray sky...you need to visit Ohio. Forget the beautiful sunsets on Florida. They got nothing on our sad sky.
I wore Donna Karan's Black Cashmere. I am sure I will discover more "A" fragrances(for the challenge) but I did not feel like hunting through my stash. The notes are guggal incense, cedar, sandalwood, cinnamon, clove and vanilla. I am a huge fan of this fragrance but I still continue to search for the "holy grail" incense fragrance.

I love that photo!
It's not a pure incense, but my most favorite incense scent is Barbara Bui. It's got a mix of jasmine and some woods, a bit of musk too, but the incense makes this one a stunner.
My current favorite is DKNY Wenge.

Regina Harris original oil comes the closest to Catholic Church incense as any perfume I've ever smelled. Also it got the same reaction when my priest buddy smelled it at Barney's in Chicago when we were there a few years ago.
I also love Comme Des Garcons Avignon and Jaisalmer as incensey fragrances.
