Vintage Guerlain ad: I am staring at Perfumebay wondering if I should grab as many as I can. My love for the Guerlain house is late blooming. My friend Felicia(Fcappy) was kind enough to school me in the ways of Guerlain. There are so many beauties in this fragrance house. Today many of us learned that Guerlain is planning on doing some "tinkering". Let the buying frenzy begin!!! I imagine this might rival the crazy Creed incident.

My favorite Guerlain is Parure. It means 'a matched set' in jewelry. Three or more pieces, to be exact!
I love it because I took three trips to the Guerlain counter at Saks in NYC and sniffed every one of the Guerlains there, until I found the one to buy, the one that was 'me' -- and this was the one.
I still love it after all these years.
I love Vol de Nuit and L'Heure Bleue on me, and I love the smell of Samsara on my drama queen friend.
I just found L'Heure Bleue and I love that one but my favorite so far is With Love. I just adore that fragrance and wish it were part of the regular line.
My favorite Guerlain is Vol a Nuit parfum. It is so extraordinary.
I also like Jicky in the parfum form as well.
My personal favorite is L'Heure Bleue. I do not own this fragrance. I fell very quietly in love with it on my last trip to NYC. I tried the parfum on my wrist and was very unsure of how it smelled on me. It slowly grew on me and knocked me over with its magic. At this time this fragrance is out of my financial reach. I hope to one day own it. This Guerlain tinkering breaks my heart because I might miss my opportunity to own a bottle.
