Me pushing Griff to cave on some swoonworthy shoes:

Patti and I began the day at the infamous T J Maxx where the Chanel was spotted. The visit was a bust except Patti scored Tony & Tina brushes. I saw some worthy scents like Ghost Deep Night, Dolce & Gabbana(the red box), the new Noa, and Lulu Guinness. The clothing selection was just plain awful. We then went on to Marshalls where we finally located a huge bin of Tony&Tina products. I repurchased a backup alpha state along with some powders and eyeshadows. At 1pm we met up with Miss Griff. We introduced her to the relaunched Lancomes and the new scent from Alexander McQueen. I believe she really loved Climat and was impressed with the McQueen. Later during the day at Sephora I sprayed the scent Cumming on a card for her to sniff. She literally jumped and winced. We both were not crazy for the Cynthia Rowley but were charmed by the pretty bottle.

The most important parts of the day were that Griff tried on the most perfect shoes for fall and cavewoman discovered a HG(holy grail) face powder from Shisedo. The shoes were a 1940's ankle strap with a peek-a-boo toe. They were a buttery seude with a little shimmery leather detail. The minute she tried them on there was a hush among us. Thousands of outfits flew in my mind in that brief second. They were the perfect shoe and I am convinced that she must not resist them.

It was a wonderful day with two great shopping buddies!
