Cannot deal with the white bra with black sheer top. I think she is channeling Madonna more than Marilyn. But I do love red high heels with jeans. Tartlet!
LOL! J: I am seeing a lot of very high waisted jeans and trousers so far. When I saw these jeans I knew you would shudder.
Mel: I thought either it was a white bra or was the lighting. I have to say that I liked it. I am so used to seeing low rise and skinny that it was a breath of fresh air...in a shocking way. Now that skanky Bon Jovi clothes...that was just plain shocking.
L: I love the jeans on her. It actually is a very flattering retro look. I am a fan though. She generally does very well in her fashion choices. BTW: Her makeup was beyond fab. She makes me want to do a red liptsick again.
P: It was a great way to end the show. She looked amazing.
I'm no fan of Scarlett's acting but she's a real beauty, and I think she looks smashing. I dig the whole ensemble. I agree with Tania, she should have jumped on the back of a motorcycle with a Dean or Brando look-alike to end the show.
Mr. Campaspe's comment, for the record: "She has a great figure, but I don't like the pants on her."
The top half is ok, I guess... but the high waist combined with those "womanly" hips doesn't work for me... and the two together, well, let's just say, "I knew Marilyn Monroe and she ain't no Marilyn Monroe."
I'll bet Trinny and Susanna, those British What Not to Wear women. would have a fit. I can almost hear them shrieking now!

Not a good look, Scarlett.
Peej! Some of us can't wear low-rise! We have a bit too much overhang!
Mel, I agree with that tacky white bra.
Laura, at least she has a womanly figure!
LOL!

Va va voom.
She looks ready to make out with James Dean or some other teen-aged hooligan in a leather jacket, hanging out in the parking lot of the soda shop.
I will not be rocking the high-waisted pants for a few reasons:
1. I am so short that below-the-waist pants translate to at-the-waist pants for me anyway.
2. I have no waist, actually.
3. When you're petite, rule #1 for not looking like a pygmy is "do not emphasize your waist."

Me: "What about the top?"
Mr. C: "You can see her bra. Cool."

Scarlett was made to wear evening gowns!
