My favorite Balenciaga piece: The egg dress. I have been googling and spending way too much time trying to find the 60's inspiration. So far I have been unsuccessful. I thought the original was created by Courreges but I have found no evidence. It might be time to dig out my fashion history textbooks. (style.com) Posted by Picasa

I know the pictures you speak of. I was really looking for the exact copy. I can see the dress in my head. This is practically an exact copy. I will keep working on it. I love a fashion challenge.
