That sentence is wonderful. Do you know if it's a quote? It has a "from a cruel French novel" flavor.

I have no clue where the quote came from originally.
I just loved how they chose an ornate chair to go with it.

The chair is really the cherry on top. You wonder if you are telling the chair it is beautiful but it doesn't mean a thing to you, or if the chair is telling you.
