This is my favorite dress from the entire Alexander McQueen collection. It is perfect in every way. The moment I spotted it I thought that my friend Hirondelle should be in it. She could do this dress justice. (netaporter) Posted by Picasa

Stacy and Clinton would love this dress. The cinching at the waist pulls everything in and makes everything look better.
Dear F could surely look fly in this dress, but I think it should be shorter for F so that we could see her gams.

ooh, that is a thing of beauty - although i might prefer it just a little shorter and maybe in another colour, but i fancy the cross-over look would be very forgiving of my post-chicklet stomach bulge issues...

It is a very flattering and forgiving dress. I just love how it has a vintage movie star feel to it. You can see it Monroe or Liz Taylor.

I love this! Have you seen the latest issue of Vogue? The dress is featured on p. 164 in the "What Works for Work" feature.

Also check out p. 215...Idina Menzel is a gorgeous, gorgeous Carolina Herrera.

I have not seen the new Vogue. I never reach for it anymore. Anna lost me years ago. I actually do not have a subscription to anything. I am magazine-less.

I mostly just look at the pictures these days. I find many of the features to be ludicrous - especially the interviews with vapid socialites and celebrities where the interviewer basically compliments them the entire time without asking any good questions.

The only sections I actually read are Andre Leon Talley's pieces, and Jeffrey Steingarten's articles about food!
