I am currently addicted to Tania's NaNoWriMo novel on her blog Brain Trapped in Girl's Body. It has pirates and ninjas. Yesterday a news item broke about a cruise ship being attacked by a band of pirates.
I was tickled and actually beamed with pride.
I half expected to see the character Lucia standing on one of the decks laughing.

I am sorry for the people who were robbed by the pirates etc etc...but I was amuzed as well...immediately thought of the pirates inhabiting a certain fragrance board :-)

Today it is extra good with the appearance of V as a buddy/enemy. Think of a glam version of Lando in The Empire Strikes Back. You know V will save the day in the end.
